Apparently Jedi Fallen Order Is Soulslike. -Each planet is an open level with interconnected paths, secrets to find and some areas you need to come back later with something specific to unlock more. -Rest points that restore your health and ability and also reset/respawn enemies. -If you die you drop your XP and have to get it back.
It's quite good and this is coming from someone who has flat 0 interest in Star Wars. If all licensed games like Fallen Order, the Batman Arkham series and KotoR 1 and 2 were the norm, oh what a world it would be. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has incredibly good elements, and they play out exceptionally well in its first three hours. Force-power diversity, combat animations, beautiful opening zones, clever puzzles, and Jedi-salvation stakes could lead anybody to believe they were in for a Star Wars single-player epic worth investing in. The world structure is similar in that you have areas you go back and forth through, unlocking shortcuts as you progress.
Jedi: Fallen Order. Jedi: Fallen Order is one of the best Star Wars games to date. The exploration is fun, the combat is exciting and often challenging (yet not an annoyance), the main characters are likeable and portrayed very well, and even the music is excellent. My only criticism is that backtracking to collect crates that were previously auw8NNt.
