If the radio is not working on Your FIAT 500 the first thing You should try is to disconnect Your battery for 15 minutes and then reconnect and try Your radio again. If the radio was frozen this will fix it. If that didn't fix it then You may need to replace the fuse for it in the fuse box.

I keep a thumbdrive with music plugged into the USB1 port in the console. Sometimes the system recognizes it when I start the car, and sometimes it doesn't. Removing it and re-inserting sometimes work and sometimes needs to be done repeatedly. 2018 RT with Uconnect 7" screen, but same thing has happened with my 2020 Grand Cherokee with 8.4
